SCI and MYSCD sign MOU
Today, Save the Children represented by our Country Director - Mrs Jo Musonda and the Ministry of Youth Sport and Child Development represented by the Permanent Secretary - Mr Joe Kapembwa signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
Through this MOU, SCI and MYSCD agree to share the respective strengths of the two parties to improve the outcomes for children, through implementation and scale-up of evidence-based high impact interventions in child programmes, child legal and policy framework, child rights reporting to treaty bodies and child rights monitoring and accountability mechanisms.
One of the key elements of our theory of change is to build partnerships with government and like-minded institutions through which we can achieve immediate and lasting change for children.
